I used this cooler on a 8 day camping trip. I cooled it down 48 hours before I was going to load it for the trip. I put frozen food in it and the ice. 8 day later the chicken and bacon are still frozen. Love it so much I'm going to buy another one for my other foods. Oh my other food in standard coolers went thru 4 bags of ice. If you're having problems with your blue cooler then Pre cool them before you load them.
