| | WHAT WE'RE WATCHING | | ✅ The Supreme Court green lights Trump's deportations. The Supreme Court ruled 5–4 to let the Trump administration use the 1798 Alien Enemies Act to deport illegal alien gang members. This decision overturned a lower court ruling by Judge James Boasberg that had blocked the Trump administration from using the Act to deport Venezuelan nationals. This marks a major legal win for Trump's immigration agenda, now allowing for the faster removal of foreign nationals from the US. | 🇪🇺 EU offers zero-for-zero tariff deal. The EU Commission proposed a "zero-for-zero tariff" arrangement on industrial goods with the US to ease escalating trade tensions, as detailed by President von der Leyen. This proposal comes as President Trump ramped up his tariff war, threatening to impose an additional 50 percent tariff on China if Xi Jinping imposed retaliatory tariffs on the US. While Europe may be capitulating, China will not roll over so easily. | 🗣️ Trump, Netanyahu addressed tariff, hostage concerns. President Trump met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House to discuss measures aimed at achieving "fair trade" with Israel while also addressing the hostage situation with Hamas. Israeli goods are set to face a 17 percent tariff following Trump's announcement. Though Israel remains a close ally, the president is hitting friends and foes alike in his tariff war. | 🔪 New study finds growing left-wing support for political violence. A bombshell report from the Network Contagion Research Institute revealed that 55 percent of left-leaning respondents said killing Trump would be at least "somewhat justified." The study ties this rise in "assassination culture" to social media radicalization, with figures like Luigi Mangione — the alleged killer of UHC's CEO — being glorified online. Researchers found similar left-wing support for violence against Elon Musk. |

| | EDITOR'S NOTE | Presciently consistent | | Good morning. "Keep your cars out of here until you open up." That was Donald Trump in 1995, calling out Japan for flooding the US with cars while keeping American vehicles out of their own market. And today, he's acting on it. | And back in 1984, in a Washington Post interview, Trump said he wanted to one day lead nuclear arms negotiations. He was talking about Moscow then — today, he's doing just that with Putin and negotiating nuclear threats from Iran. | I'm amazed by how presciently consistent the president has been. | |

| | THE MAIN STORY | The progressive dark money fueling the "Hands Off" protests | | WHAT'S HAPPENING_ | Over 1,300 protests erupted nationwide Saturday, presented as a mass resistance largely aimed at President Trump and Elon Musk. While tens of thousands of Americans joined supposedly grassroots rallies, the "Hands Off" protests were organized and planned by the activist group Indivisible, funded by the left-wing billionaire George Soros in what was a top-down operation linked to the Democratic Party and progressive dark money networks. | | _THE FACTS_ | Indivisible was founded by Democratic Party operatives and spousal couple Ezra Levin and Leah Greenberg and has received nearly $8 million in funding from George Soros' Open Society Foundations since 2017. The activists running Indivisible call the protests a "let a thousand flowers bloom kind of moment" — borrowing a line from Chinese communist leader Mao Zedong. The group is partnered with progressive organizations like the Democratic Socialists of America, the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), Planned Parenthood, the Working Families Party, and the Human Rights Campaign. Indivisible is also funded by Democracy Alliance, a secretive dark money hub where wealthy Democratic donors — including George Soros — anonymously bankroll groups working to dismantle America's political and economic systems. At the DC "Hands Off" protest, murals were displayed to honor Hamas and Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine terrorists. American Muslims for Palestine — recently accused in a lawsuit of being a Hamas propaganda arm — helped lead the rally. Protesters vandalized and slashed the tires of several ICE vehicles and disrupted traffic near ICE headquarters. The next nationwide protest is set for May 1, International Workers' Day — a socialist holiday.
